I have Internet Explorer Version 11 and Windows 7 Professional Home Version
My updates have always worked fine, but in the past 2 weeks it keeps saying update failed.
When I ran a scan about it, it said 'service registration is missing or corrupt'

What can I do ? Not computer Literate much. ;)

There is no such version. You either have Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Home Premium. Which one is it?
Right click Computer, select Properties and what version does it show?

    32 bit or 64 bit?
What update failed? (look in the Update History and post the KB # of the update(s) that failed.)

It's 64 bit Updates worked fine until June 12.
The update that keeps failing says - 2019-06 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64 based systems. KB4503292
Definition updates were updated on the same day, but the 'Secure Monthly etc' keeps failing

I haven't done the June patches yet. I always wait to see what problems are caused. This is on 4 Windows 7 computers both 32 bit and 64 bit. Three are Home and one is Pro.
I usually make an image before I go to the catalog download the updates then manually install them about 2 - 3 weeks after the updates are released.

I'm following this thread and so far I haven't found any post where the update failed to install in Win 7. Note the thread has posts from 7, 8.1, and all versions of 10.

    This confused me
The updates were released on June 11th and you posted June 14th. That's 3 days not 2 weeks.
What else from 2 weeks ago tried to install and failed? That would be the end of May or beginning of June.

I have Windows 7 Professional Home Version. All this says failed was - 2019 -06 Security monthly quality rollup for Windows 7 for x64 based systems KB4503292

I looked at my past updates and ALL have been successful,EXCEPT the most recent - 2019-06 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64 based system KB4503292 The 'Definition Update for Microsoft Security Essentials was successfully updated June 16,- so wondering why the "Security Quality Rollup' KB4503292 was not.
The Security Quality Rollup on May 15 says it updated successfully.
Any help given would be appreciated.

I'm going to send you to another site where the people there special in fixing any Windows update problems.
    https://www.sysnative.com/forums/forums/windows-update.88/

Because there are so many new threads, it might take 2 or 3 days for someone to help.
Post exactly what you have above, including that this is on a 64 bit Windows 7 (you should determine if it is Home or Pro - you failed to mention which you have).
As I posted above there is no Professional Home version; it is one or the other Professional OR Home not both.

If after 3 days, no one comes to help, bump the thread so it doesn't get lost on page 2, 3 or 4.
