Update Issue in xp

    I click on update and I get get this error about the "date and time being out of sync with an update certificate to fix this" (then it gives you directions). After fixing the day and time it still will not let me update. It is telling me that I got to register certian types of files like "regsvr32 Softpub.dll" along with some othr dll files and I'm not sure if I want to do this.

    Is internet time enabled? Double click clock in taskbar - check internet time - make sure Automatically synchronize with an internet time server is ticked and make sure you have the correct the timezone selected.

    What are you trying to update?
    Can you post a link to the page about what dlls need to be registered before you can update?
