Updated Ram

    :wave A friend has a dell inspiron 1300 Laptop with 265mb which makes the whole comp slow ,it takes ddr2 ram and i have 1mg ddr2 ram 867 mhz dimm will it be able to take that

    DDR2 is either 667 or 800 MHz, but as long as you leave the original memory in there, any DDR2 laptop memory will work in any DDR2 laptop. Unless it's an Apple, but that's a different animal entirely. Dell computers are notoriously flexible with RAM, just stick it in there, and if you have any issues at all, post back here and we'll try to help you out.

    No mimsy was going to take out the 265mb and put in 1 mg

    Why? If you have enough slots you can mix them just fine. It should still work if you remove it though, if you prefer to go that route.
