I picked up a toshiba laptop this weekend, when I went to the website to check for updates there was a list of 38 updates to download. My question is do I need to get them all, some are bios, utilities, and drivers. How do I choose, or do I just grab them all? I have already installed all the windows updates as well as the anti-virus updates, thanks

    Hi

I would leave the BIOS one alone unless your pc is experiencing any issues a bios update would fix as updating the bios is not to be done unless needed, as for the others, yes the manuals are worth getting in you dont have them already, will give advice on the laptop and usage etc etc

The only drivers I would update are network and graphics, BUT if the laptop is working well then as old saying goes "dont fix whats not broken"
