I was wondering if updating my mobo driver/ BIOS would help me get more fps in games and a higher 3dmark score? cause recently my fps just cut in half.

it is not alway right, you should read file *.TXT including bios file when you dowload for futher information. You will see it is necessery or not.

Exactly... never update your bios unless you really need to and only if it fixes a problem your having ( if you have a Gigabyte mobo with dual bios then this minimises the risk )

If happened recently then I highly doubt its due to the Bios.. more likely one of these... GFX card driver ( if using a modified driver such as Omega can cause soem issues with some PCs ) may need updating, Spyware, Game needs updating.

the thing is, after I noticed my drop in fps: I reformatted and updated my drivers from the official site, but the problem still exists.
