Visit Crucial, download and run their free system scanner that will bring up RAM stick's that are GUARANTEED to work with your system.

    This from Dell.

This is not unlike my rig at home. I have a single processor 3.4 GHZ Dimension from back in 2005. Your computer can be upgraded to 4GB of RAM which will be plenty. I'm running that much at home right now on a similar setup as yours and it's running great.

I even upgraded my HD to 500GB and 4 GB of RAM, all for under 100.00. Totally worth it! :cool

Crucial themselves and newegg are your best bets.

As for brands, go for Corsair, OCZ, G Skill or Geil.
