    Here is....
    Board: Intel Corporation D850GB AAA22957-306
    Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
    BIOS: Intel Corp. GB85010A.15A.A017.P06.0102201104 02/20/2001
    and my CPU..
    1.50 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
    8 kilobyte primary memory cache
    256 kilobyte secondary memory cache

This is my .. dilemma I want to upgrade my processor or just get a new P4 mobo/CPU combo, I have 1024 MB of RDRam, I don't know where to look to find out if my board is even upgradeable to a faster processor and if it isn't; where can I find out if I can still use my RDRam in a new P4 board and what kind to even get??
Unfortunately, I only have the money for a new processor or new mobo/cpu combo, but not new ram too. :(
I hope all this made sense!
    Thanks!

What speed FSB (Front-Side Bus) is the board?

RDRam? I think you mean DDR-RAM or SD-RAM.

    It's FSB is 100mhz
The ram is RDRam as in Rambus or RIMM. When the P4's 1st came out thats the ram they came with to be used in pairs only. I havent tried DDR but I know it doesnt take SDRam

Your most likey going to need a new board with a faster FSB for a faster CPU. Never used that memory before so know nothing about it. I always recommend a board that uses DDR-RAM. With a FSB speed of 100MHz you probably wouldnt be able to support anything much higher than your running now. Hope this helps!

No many if any RDRAM mobos being made any more, as RDRAM fell from grace over pricing ( damm expensive stuff ).. think some of the last ones where from Gigabyte with the GA 8IHXP which is a 533mhz FSB ( 133x4 Quad ) and the fastest CPU it will take iirc is the Northwood 3.06 ( 533 ) HT cpu.. dont know if these are still available as I bought one a few years back.

You wont be able to use DDR ram in a RDRAM mobo as the memory slots have a different configuration to DDR slots.

Your current mobo will take any of these CPUs ( so long as the Bios is upgraded befoe installation to Bios revision P14 )

aslo depending on how much you are willing to spend, you maybe able to afford, CPU, MOBO and Memory? start searching the online PC retailers in your country.
