Upgrade To Xp Sp3

    Im operating bare bones with XP sp2. My canon Pixma MG3222 does not have software available for install ( per canon's support web site) and my disc doesn't work either. Should I upgrade to sp3? if so, how? uninstall sp2 first?

    My system was built by a "geek" in the family for the use of u-tube, netflix, photo/vieos storage/office functions (basic) and occasional online browsing. Basically cost nothing.....

    Is it worth it? My printer/scanner/copier is only 2 years old and works fine......

    No uninstalling of Service Pack 2 - that would be dangerous. You simply update it to Service Pack 3, which was released 8 years ago.
    That Pixma model system requirements require SP3, so it should work fine when that Service Pack is installed.
    You should first try to update via Windows Update. If it doesn't show get the stand alone package:
