Upgrades?

I have a Sony Vaio Desktop (PCV-V210P).

Not my choice, it was given to me... and then my other computer died a horrible death (bad surge protector... )

The question is, what (if anything) can I do to upgrade this guy a little. I know I can put more RAM in, and probably a bigger HD, but other than that? I doesn't seem like I have much choice. I tried to look it up online, but apparently not only does no one sell them anymore... but Sony doesn't even have a page for it on their site!

I've been looking in to just getting a new computer, but I'm basically broke with college fees and such.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

its possible that the surge protector only took out the power supply.

they are cheap on e-bay.
