Upgrading A CPU

I was wondering if I could upgrade to a penitum ||| processor on my system witch is Win98 SE, 233MHz pentuim || processor. I also am wondering I I can keep windows 98 SE and still run my pentium ||| to its full ability.

 

If you are using a slot 1 mobo, i'm guessing it's going to be hard to track down a slot 1 based pentium 3 it is my understanding that most of them are Slot 370 ... although you probably will have to reinstall your OS

 

i am going to say know. i am 99.99% sure that there are no slot 1 (which pIIs run in) pIIIs. At least none that i have seen.
