If you find out the name and make of your mobo,go to the manufacturers site, download the new bios and follow the instructions in the readme on how to install it,But,first find out your current bios,it comes on the screen as soon as you turn on your comp, then trace the bios updates from yours to the latest one you want to install and see what's been fixed, most of the time its just added support for new hardware or small things like stopping the power light flashing for no reason ect-.If you have been having compatibility issues with some new hardware or a problem and the update fixes it,or there's a 50% performance increase,it's not worth bothering because if something goes wrong it can render your motherboard useless. :(
