Upgrading my Laptop

    Basically, I have a ompaq Presario 1200 i bought in 2000. It's slow as junk (a 531 mhz processor), nd thats the biggest reason I dont use it anymore. I'd like to use it for business. Is there a better AMD processor I can upgrade to? I'd like at least a 1ghz. Heres my current processor info, as per sytem info (I have Windows 2K pro)

    x86 Family S Model 13 Stepping 4 AuthenticAMD ~531 Mhz

    Also, are all laptop hard drives the same?? This one is <6gb

    All hard drives for laptops are the same, no problem there.

    As for the chip, I think the consideration would be the additional heat. I would contact AMD and ask if the upgrade is feasable for your model.
