    Hello all,

I currently have a GeForce 4 4200Ti and i was wanting to do an upgrade. i have an Asus P4B533 motherboard and i was wondering if the new, 256mb cards will work.

    Thanks

Sounds like you have a older VAIO  Most likely an AGP.

There are plenty of Threads on Video Cards, read them over. I'm sure a 256 card will work but will probally won't offer you any more performance than a 128 card in your system. I think your MOBO is limited to 4X, so going high end may not be cost effective.

can anyone give me some ideas for ne MoBo's and video cards. The mobo has to be compatible with a P4 chip.

I would like to stay with nVidia for my viedo card too.

    thanks
