I have acquired a brand new PC which is running Windows 8. I want to swap the HDD for a SSD but am wondering how to do it. I have done it before but can't remember what I did. It has no data just the OS so that is not an issue but I don't have the Win 8 installation disk. Basically I want to put in an SSD and more Ram and also do the upgrade to Win 10.

Microsoft has a tool to download Win 10 and create a bootable USB, then put the new RAM & SSD in. Win 10 should pull the key from BIOS and activate.
If really need to know "how to do it" Google your model and the phrases, add RAM or swap hard drive, most of the time you'll get a YouTube video that will show you.
