upload screenshots

how do I upload screenshots of games to appear in my post?

In one of two ways:

1. attach the image to your post. The only downside to that is there's a file size cap... I think it's 60k but I'm not sure.

2. Upload the image to a host. Usually most ISP's provide some online space for their members to use at no extra cost that make good or adequate image hosts. Then from there you can use vB code in your posts to show the image. You can click the IMG button that appears in the Reply window, and type in the address of the image that you want to appear. Alternatively, you can just type in the address in the reply box and slap [img ][/img ] around the address. Just make sure there's no spaces

 

But if you use the Browse button, as Vonnie suggested above, the forum server will let you tell it which file on your hard drive to copy, and that image file will be stored on the MG server's files. You can then delete it from your own drive, if, say, it's a screenshot you needed for the post but don't want to keep.
