Uploading your games and etc (suck with comps)

I just got a new laptop and I want to be able to play my games with out bringing all my cds with me. how do i go about uploading my cd's to my hardrive (and this is legal correct if its for personal use, if isnt please let me know before doing)

 

If you have all the legal CDs' and thus passwords you can goto;

and DL the patches for "No-CD" patch and install those, but you must have the original CD and key to do this.

AFAIK, this is legal if you own the game. I do this myself.

I would recommend downloading an imaging and drive virtualization app like Alcohol. This will let you copy your discs exactly, and then mount them as a virtual CD/DVD ROM drives.

Do note however, if you are going to do this, some modern games will require reinstallation due to the drive letter they are being run from is changing.

 

thank you guys.. and yes theese are my own games.. I just uploaded tonyhawk and used that one site.. it seems easier then i thought... does that site have thoose for every game?

 

I dont know if it covers every game but it certainly has a lot and thrz nothing worse than paying $70-80 AUD for a game to then scratch it from putting it in and out of the drive all the time.
