Hi everyone, i just had a problem about 2 days ago where i got the BSOD, ive had it a couple of times a week but nothing happened.
I know its bad but i didnt take care of it. Anyways, i had about 350 MB of memory left, my total space is about 16 GB.
So when i started back up i turned on my internet and my homepage was firefox and ALL my links were gone.
Its very important i get this fixed because i sell car parts from my house as my business and lots of important information/links were gone without a trace.
ive tried reading on the internet about this issue but havent found an answer.
Im not too good with computers but understand the basics and can follow directions good :)
Please give me all the help you guys can give, i know it was dumb not to make a backup of my favorites like someone told me to a week earlier when i upgraded to the newest firefox.
    Thanks for your time.

The folks at Mozillazine have put together a very complete rundown of all the possible solutions: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks. Note that Firefox keeps 5 days of backup files in the folder "bookmarkbackups" inside the profile folder, there's a good chance you can recover them from there.

Though it's too late now, the best solution is prevention - you should always back up your Firefox profile, or at least your bookmarks (in a separate location). I use the extension Bookmark Backup myself, it keeps 7 days of automatic backups of bookmarks and, optionally, other profile data, and you can put them anywhere on your network.

    Start > Run > type in: %appdata%
    In window that opens Mozilla>Firefox>Profiles>######.default>bookmarkbackups
Copy one of the bookmarks(anydate).html files to the ####.default folder and rename it bookmarks.html [you can rename the current bookmarks.html to bookmarks.old rahter than overwriting if you want]

    That should do it.

You may have to unhide extensions for known filetypes to see the .html extensions.
In Windows explorer Tools>Folder Options>View remove the checkmark for "Hide extensions for known filetypes.
