well... im about to try this reformat thing again! ... im just wondering, like if i have all the necessary boot disks etc, i cant really go wrong can i ?? .....

and if i can, a person who does know how to reformat should be able to correct my errors.. ? i mean... theres no way im gonna sieze the drives am i .. or can i???

If I recall the problem was that you didn't have much hard drive space? Windows XP takes up about 4GB, depending on whether you archive files (keep downloads of updates) and what components you have selected.

 

thanks for ur response... but, 'the inner geek' saw me through!!! ... i reformatted, correctly and successfully this time - remembering to delete the previous applications first

does this make me a 'geek' .... cos thats what im calling myself !! Yayy me !!
