Urgent! Simplyzip 1.1b81 hosed my system!

    Hi,

    I emailed JIM with this 1/2 hour ago but have not rec'd a response. If one of you knows how to get in touch with the MAJORGEEKS admins, please let them know that a newly listed utility, Simplyzip 1.1b81, hosed my XP/SP3 system. After I installed it and registered file-types to unzip, everything on my desktop was unregistered and nothing would run. I have no reason to think that my system is at fault; I think either this utility is malicious or seriously flawed, and it should be removed until it is investigated further.

    I see the program still has not been removed, and you have remoed my post. This is irresponsible. Other people may experience the same problem.

    A half an hour? Really? It's a beta and most betas should be run with caution. While they are often safe, they are still betas.

    Stop blaming us, and admins and stop running betas. you don't know what you're doing.
