Trying to construct a mail out newsletter and was just wondering if anyone can tell me how they place images into E-mails that refer to images on the net.

I realise I can use the Insert>Picture>From File but am looking for something a little more complex.

I have been trying to get the Insert>Feild>IncludePicture and placing my URL in the feild properties. The problem I am having is trying to get it so the E-mail doesn't store the image within the E-mail.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Outlook or Outlook Express?

This works with either one of those, start your email as usual and to insert picture from a URL source, click Insert > Picture and in the Picture Source box past the URL to the picture and click OK

Thanks Halo, but that is not what I am after.... I can already do that but it seems to attach the pictures to the E-mails. All I want to happen is for the E-mail to store place holders and if the recipient wants to download the pictures they simply right mouse and select download pictures.... I am sure you must havbe recieved a news letter like this at some stage.
