url links do not work on IE6

    I have created another user in XP. both a limited and admistrator account
    the problem is that when I click on a URL link( say mail on the yahoo page) nothing happens. I do not receive any error messages, screen freeze or flood bar, the screen just stays the same.
    I have no problems with my original account only on the ones that I have set up for the kids.
    thanks in advance for nay help you guys can offer. :confused:
