I have a cell and really had the several hundred dollar phones but my phone is getting pretty old. And they called me long time ago saying I could get a new battery anytime for free. Well my phone has been bad for some time but I just figure its something else but now my phone background stays white, will go dead in 3 hours from charging all night and etc.. So I plan on going and getting a new battery. But my question is .. I got pictures and games and I was wondering if the battery they are going to tank out will make me lose my pictures and etc? And also does my battery store all the stuff I sent to friends from texts to pictures and videos.. will all that stuff be on that battery they take out of my phone? Because I am sure they are going to give a use battery to give me and keep mine... to turn it in to (re build maybe) but my question is will all my texts, pictures, videos all be on that battery they are going to keep from my phone? Because I really dont want someone looking at my stuff.

They said they would give me a new batter.. And like I said I doubt its new.. for free.. and I don't see why they would let me keep what I have. I figure my stuff was in the "phone" itself. But I didn't know if batterys also held my stuff to and they could get and view my what I had on it. I am hoping its the battery thats messing everything up. It wont stay charge more then 3 hours and freezing my games up and changing my background to white saying no service..not sending pictures to people I send to, when they send a txt or me many times the txt can take while and not one out of 3 txts may not get to them till few hours later... also now its bad enough when I send a txt it says cant send so I resend and same thing.. so I constantly take battery off and back on to turn on.. so I hope this is just a battery issue.

 

Well I called shortly after posting and the guy said I should be able to swap a battery to see if it works. But I mean all the issues I was having wont be fix (right when I plug in the new battery) I got to wait and see how long it holds its charge, and see if it acts up when sending pictures and texting to people. So plugging it in there the guy will probably say well it works and Ill walk out :-D Anyways I was just manly asking if the battery stored any of my stuff I ve got on it.. cause I didn't want the place to have my stuff.
