Usb Application For Tv

    Is there an application that can be put on a USB stick and plugged into a TV to display pictures without human input?
    Looking to put up an LED TV on a time switch, so the TV can switch on in the morning and automatically start showing the pictures and then the time switch would shut down the TV - and next morning all would start up automatically and start showing the pictures again.
