I just ran across an article for USB C ports, the more I read the less I understood, Simple ,is it worth it and how does it install, an adapter? I read where its very handy for cell phones, what about computer fixtures?

I have a Moto G6 which uses the 'C' connector. Had to buy 2 cables, 1 for home and 1 for use in my work truck. Plugs in either direction. Which computer fixtures are you curious about?

The original hardware (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) either has a USB-C port or it doesn't.

My cell doesn't use a USB-C but my newest android tablet does. It is only C on one end; the other end is a regular USB connection.
A USB-C is easier to plug in than the microsd plugs.
