usb camera image flickering popup

    hi guys can anyone help me with this.
    i reinstalled a webcam last week and now everytime i load up xp a message pops up and and asks something about 'power frequency setting do you live in 50hz or 60hz area i always click on yes but the popup still comes up everytime no matter what i press. i tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling but no joy made sure i had the right drivers, even tried it in all the different usb ports, any genius know what im doing wrong? is there a way to turn this off?
    also this webcam did work few months ago on xp and never had a problem with it
    anyway if anyone can help its greatly appreciated as its driving me mad!!

    yeah sure it says on the install cd its a twinklecam

    no model number or anything on it

    but after the installation its called 'CIF USB CAMERA 2110A' in the device manager

    hope this helps.

    Jim,
    Do you feel that the messagebox that appears is a windows one? or a box that is coming from the camera software itself?
    From a quick bit of reading, perhaps this is a setting that you have to set on the actual cambera itself, rather than via the software. Take a look in the manual to see if there is a mode that you can set it to for your 50hz (220v power) or 60hz (110v power)
