hey guys, i wonder if anyone may have some insight as to why i cannot install a usb 2.0 card into my laptop. i keep getting a note that says that installation failed because of a cyclic redundancy check. the card isn't even recognized when it's put into my laptop anymore. it's pretty frustrating. any help would be most appreciated. thanks!

Are you refering to a flash drive or an actual pci usb card? If a usb flash drive...then the error is a corrupt disc and you need to get the data off (if it will work in a different computer) and reformat the drive.
