Usb Device No Longer Shows In My Computer

A particular USB Device no longer shows in My Computer. When I plug it into the input there is a recognition alert sound when it goes in. It's the same sound that always sounded. I see it recognized in Device Manager as well. When I pull it out, it disappears from Device Manager as it should. I've tried to update the driver but computer says the most updated driver is installed. When I insert a different USB device into the same input it is recognized by both sound and visually in Explorer. Help?

 

Find it in Disk Management and allocate it a drive letter.

 

Where is Disk Management? I don't see it in the Control Panel. I have Windows 10.

 

It's on the right click start menu

 

Found. But:

Disk Management: "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."
"The operation failed to complete because the Disk Management console view is not up to date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task"

Action>Refresh

Same thing happens:"The operation failed to complete because..."

 

What version of Win 10? Win key R, type winver

 

You can skip #6 if you like. There is a system problem - run sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt.
