    Hi guys

new round here, quick search of threads unsuccessful, hope i am not asking last weeks question!

my sister has a Tiny A360 laptop, running ME.

When installing software to link a digi video cam, gets error message says there are no drivers for the USB - which is probably correct, cos it no longer works.

(as Tiny buyers they predictably had no firewall, or AV, and had to get it fixed up by some bloke when viruses started to run out of space :)

obviously the Tiny website is helpfull as a kick in the soft bits..

does anyone know if it is possible to get these from somewhere ?

would that scanning site (driverhq, mentioned on a few threads) be of use here ? is it risky ?

    any clues appreciated

    cheers.........charli

I would use Everest to determine the chipset on the motherboard, and then go to the chipset manufacturer's web site and download their generic USB drivers.

what type of laptop is it (eg toshiba, IBM) and i will try to help you get the drivers for the usb drive. you can also reinstall your OS and that should fix the problem.
