USB & Dual Core issue on abit fatal1ty an8 sli

    Hi all has anyone here experienced an issue with the abit fatal1ty an8 sli Mobo with a dual core processor have been to Abit site.forum but no help there. When USB ports used Com freezes has been an issue ever since I got it..

    AMD Dual Core 4200
    ABIT fatal1ty AN8SLI
    1 Gig Corsair
    500w PSU
    MSI GFORCE 7 series graphics card

    EUREKA... if this is of help to another.. The mobo was built before Dual Core was launched and It is a common thing on the nvidia NF4 chipset and dual core cpu's. To resolve change your USB settings in Bios from 2.0 (the default) to 1.1. :)
