usb error

i keep gettin teh "this device can perform faster if you connect it to a high speed usb port. all of my ports r usb 2.0. i don't get it. i checked the device manager to ensure that "enhanced controller" was in there. even tried uninstalled the usb drivers and re-installing them. i still get this error.

 

have you checked bios settings? i think it's bios issue.

 

yep. checked that a long time ago. i didn't change anything in the bios. this isn't a problem i've had since i got the computer. and i've never done anything with the usb ports in my bios.

yes. that's actually what i tried already. it still links you to the same file as the one given earlier.


"edit" read that too fast, lol. whoops. so now i'm going to try win update and see if it dls any new usb drivers or at least a fix/update.

 

welp tried winupdate but it gave me nothing. got a cpl of things but no usb drivers...what about uninstalling and lettin windows reinstall the hub? would that help?
