I have several USB flash drives and this is the first time I have encountered this,

I've used this flash drive before and haven't had any problum till tonight when I want to add something to the drive I get a error message saying the drive is write protected and I've checked and there is no where that is a slide switch to disable write protect. How do I take it off write protect????? thanks

    Hi wk990.

Do you need the data on the drive?

Do you know what format it is in? (FAT or NTFS)

If it is NTFS, try this... dont worry your data will be safe with this... :)

    Q
