usb for win98

    where is there a driver for win98 for usb drives??

    Yes, there certainly is but it is usually supplied with the USB device, or the manual or accompanying documentation suggests contacting the USB device makers website to download it. I don't think there is a generic driver, I could be wrong, but when I ran various USB stuff on W98SE it always came witha driver. Bazza

    A bigbazza ays, Win98 has no generic USB driver like WinME, Win2k, and WinXP do. You must get drivers from the device manufacturer for your specific device.

    I've noticed an increasing habit of device makers to not supply drivers for Win98. Considering the OS is 8 years old, that doesn't surprise me. not even MS supports it anymore.
