USB high speed host controller

    I get the message that all my USB attached extras can run faster with a High Speed USB 2 Host Controller. I am on a 2000 Dell Inspiron 5000 Laptop PIII-running XP. Is this a downloadable devise or an actual card that must be installed. Dell support seems to offer no guidance.

    XP service pack 1 supports the USB 2.0 devices.
