USB issues

    I am having some USB issues with Windows XP.
    I have 4 USB ports with One being an Enhanced Port. When I connect a HID device to the enhanced port everything works fine, but when I try to attach a HUB or a memory stick it complains with an unknown device. The hub and stick work on the other ports just not this one. The obvioius answer is use the other ones, but this is a device with a lot of wiring and assembly issues if I try to change the port structure.
