I just tried to install a USB wireless keyboard & mouse to my old IBM and of course when I start up I get a keyboard error as my old keyboard is unplugged.
How can I get my PC to start without a keyboard plugged in so that I can install my USB keyboard.I am running XP Home.

    Thanks

 Hi. With your old (I assume PS2) keyboard plugged in, the way you were originally set up, and WITHOUT your usb stuff plugged in, install any drivers that came with your new stuff. Reboot, then plug in your new stuff, and if it's recognized, you should be able to unplug the old. Good night and good luck.
