USB Mass Storage Drives Cause PC Restarts

Ok i have this problem and yes it is on a fresh install of windows xp ( i just installed it 30 min ago since i had this problem for quite some time and i wanted to get to the bottom of it) i plug the Flash Disk into any usb port and pc restarts -> note there is not BSOD and no minidumps etc automatically restart is turned off but pc still reboots. I have no clue whatsoever why does this happen. My MB is AsRock p4i65g http://www.asrock.com/product/P4i65G.htm it wasnt my default mb i changed it after the previous one got erm injured Anyway i have installed all the drivers on the cd that comes with it i have latest sp2 i update frequently as updates come out. Looking forward to ur reply.

 

Sry for posting a new post but i cannot seem to find the Edit button. I would like to add that my USB mouse even after the reinstall also reboots my pc. After working with it for a while or after leaving it idle for a while it reboots my pc into a restart loop until the mouse lights up but doesnt move so if i try to plug and unplug it it restarts my pc >.< And i have a usb receiver Wireless logitech keyboard which doesnt cause my any trouble (contrary to my mouse which is an A4Tech usb cable mouse). I can hardly boot my pc by switching usb ports until they work
