USB mouse freezing up when I game

    Every time i play a slightly demanding game on my computer (I.E. fc2) my mouse will freeze up after a while of gameplay. This is has only started recently and only happens with USB mice. I have also tried plugging in and unplugging the mouse after it has frozen, it still wont work. Please help.

    Hi man' try uninstalling your USB mouse driver [make sure yu have a ps2 mouse handy incase of any prob's] and restart your PC with the USB mouse connected.

    Have you installed any new app's recently?

    Do you keep your computer well maintained i.e. do you defrag regular and clear oput old junk?

    I never installed any drivers for the mice I used. And no i haven't installed anything recently. (other than games of course, they never acted up before though). I just defraged my computer about an hour ago, I was thinking of scanning with spybot, solo and ad-aware.

    Instead of uninstalling it, just go to device manager and update the driver for it and see if it finds any newer one.
