Well its been awhile since my last problem which is a good thing really but here I am poking you guys again for your knowledge.

My question is kinda simple really getting any sort of broadband net here in Maryland inside this county area has been a major *** to be polite. Pretty much every big name company has shot us down in the rudest of ways or hit us up with largest lies possible when checked into on why we can't have service. So we've been stuck with satellite for years now and frankly? Gaming is just a joke on it, 412mb every four hour limitation, constant connection loss in great weather, basically its only use is for okay net browsing.

I'd like more info on USB dongles and the net that comes with. That is really the question and what you think about the service listed below. I'd greatly appreciate it.

So I came across wireless usb dongles not to long ago and most companies like Verizon say if you game on it they will cut you off asap. However these guys Millenicom have said they have no problem with it when spoken with on the phone. They also claim to have no monthly limit on downloading, etc. They have two plans one with their own device the Franklin and a bring your own device plan these. The Franklin plan is 49 bucks a month I believe and the bring your own device plan is 59 bucks a month plus the 19 buck side fee to active your device one time.

So that is my option and I'd like to know would it be worth it? Could I game on that and get okay ms? Currently in games such as Halo it's red bars across and I lag out. WoW pretty much a steady 2kms at all times. Unreal 2004 I can't even get into most servers. So online gaming has been dead to me for some time. What speeds do dongles often get? The hills behind me have cell towers all over them if that helps any and the peeps on the phone said I'd get good service in my area thanks to that. Would getting my own device off that list get me a better connection then using theirs? How much better then satellite would this be?

Any answers from people with experience would be appreciated. I'd like to hear from those who know something over reading more text on how something should work but likely will not work that way.

    Thanks in advance.
