Hi, when I plug in both my usb pen drives they do not appear on when I click my computer. However when I go into control panel, administritive tools, computer management and then disk management it recognises that whichever one I have plugged in is there. I have tried this in all the usbs on my computer and they all do the same. Occasionally they do appear when i goto my computer but alot of the times they dont. Both usb drives work fine on any other computer I use them on. Also the usb ports generally work fine as I have lots of other things plugged in like wireless receives, mic, webcam etc, of which all work fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dev,

Are you saying that both Pen Drives individually work, but do not when both are plugged in?

No no, they both work on OTHER computers fine, and occasionally on mine. But majority of the time when i plug either of them in, go to "my computer" they do not appear in there, like they normally should. However they are recognised as being plugged in when I go into disk management under admin tools.

No one got any ideas? Could I not possibly have some service disabled that shows the devices?

OK you see it when you go in to disk management so the best thing would be right click on it and change the drive letter say to M This letter will be asigned to it each time you plug it in. By the way a quick way to get into disk management is Start...Run..(type)diskmgmt.msc
