Not sure if I have a software or hardware problem. I bought a Behringer phono pre-amp with USB output to copy old vinyl records. It came with the Audacity software which will record but I'm only getting the left hand channel. At first I thought it was not working at all as there was no sound from the PC speakers. I tried recording though, and I do get sound when I play the recording back. The Left & Right RCA analogue outputs on the pre-amp both work, as does the headphone output. I tried it on both my desktop and laptop with similar results. There is a bit of software called an ASI04 driver that came with the package. This would not install as it told me I needed the Vista 64 bit version. I got the correct version from the Behringer website but I don't know if I have to somehow configure Audacity to use that driver. The pre-amp itself is supposed to be plug & play but I'm not sure if it is being recognised correctly by the PC. When I go into Control Panel>Sounds the pre-amp appears as extra speakers. :confused
