USB ports not working

    About a year ago when I plug something into the USB ports on my computer, it does not recognize the item. What could be wrong with this and how can I fix it? I do not see any loose wires, the computer acts as though the UBS ports do not exist. Thanks!

    Where are you plugging the USB devices in at the rear (direct to mobo) or at the front which requires correct wiring from the mobo and does your Mobo support USB2 and do you get any messages or visual emblems when you plug them in. ????
