usb ports

    I am using xp professional,with service pack 2 with 10 usb ports. They all were working find until recently. I started to get a balloon in the task bar saying that one of my isb ports is not reconized. Then I ould get the blue screen of death. Stating that a problem has been detected you know the.

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is displayed. At the bottom under technicalis:
    ***STOP:0X00000001 (OX00000000,0X00000002,0X00000001,0XF72BA2B5)
    ***USBPORT.SYS ADDRESS F72BA25 base at F72B5000,DATESTAMP 41107d62

    Can anyone offer any sugestions?:confused
