USB power

    i need help to add more power to my USB ports they giveing about (100mA) per port, yet my sisters laptop gives 500mA even when in power saving mode

    i have a 500Watt PSU

    100mA can't power my WD Passport much & if it does i can use it to save large file due to dropping out

    is their any setting in BIOS or Registry that can allow me to up the power a little?
