The computer or game doesnt freeze just the USB goes out. And it has done it a couple times just when i wasnt doing stuff. But when playing this rarley happened but i got a STOP blue screen. So if anyone could help me i would appreciate it.

Likely hardware. Get all the updates for your system like BIOS, chipset, etc.

OK, what is the manufacturer and model for your computer?

You can get Microsoft updates by clicking on Windows Update in your Start Menu > Programs folder. When it comes up, click on Custom, not Express.
Choose any driver updates and any Critical, system updates.

    No no no.

Never, ever get driver updates from Microsoft.

    Never, ever!

That is just asking for trouble. Go to the manufacturer for drivers.

By the way, what was that stop error?

I don't get why you say no to MS drivers. They are just the manufacturer drivers 'digitally signed', correct? I wasn't looking for his video or anything, I figure there could be a USB update for him or something. Don't you think that Microsoft might have an update for his USB chipset or something?

Certainly if the manufacturer has one too, choose that first.

They are drivers for very specific devices.

Thats why you see problems. If the manufacturer wanted you to use them, they would be on their site.

As for having usb updates, those will never be listed under driver updates and historically to date, they (USB 2.0 and updated 1.1 drivers) were released in a package pre-SP1, then SP1, a reccomended update, and finally, Sp2.
