usb RJ45 unknown please help

    hi i bought a http://www.amazon.com/USB-to-RJ-45-Ethernet-Adapter/dp/B000BL3M3U and it came with a driver disk which i installed and when i put the card in to install it all it does is goes to install wizard and sais put in card reader to continue installing usb card... then it just sits there... can someone please tell me a site for step by step instructions on what im doing wrong .. please help me :):confused

    This isn't a card reader. You plug this adapter into a USB port then plug Cat5 cable into the RJ45 end to connet to a modem or router.

    Yes i know but i need to install the driver to run it. When i plug the device in it still shows up as unknown. I go to check out the prob and it says no driver installed. Also the drive disk that was sent...Well i dunno what is wrong with it but it will not install (not even manually).:wave

    If you can't get the driver installed from the CD, then you have two options: return the device for a refund or keep the device but buy another brand.
    From what I read, this is made by a company called "Generic". It is made in China so I suspect that you will not find a web site with install directions.

    is supposed to be plug and play in XP.
