Usb Upgrade

    I just purchased a Seagate 1.5 external drive, advertised as being 3.0 Usb upgradable. What kind of adapters will be needed to get a REAL 3.0 SPEED? T.I.A

    what will have to be changed

    so practically talkign for a new case?!?!?

    The bottom modules of Seagate cases are removeable and interchangeable. In addition to adding a USB3.0 connector to durkinjt's PC, he would need the proper module from Seagate to get USB3.0 functionality.
