usb

    im running a laptop that as only got usb1.0 and i want to put an external cd-rw on but they all seem to be usb2.0.can i get a usb 1.0 to 2.0 converter so as to run the device at a better speed.:confused:

    USB 2.0 is backwards compatible

    not so easy. in order for you to have USB2.0, you must have a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. no adapter can do the trick.

    ive put an external cdrw on but its only running at 4x.will a usb 2.0 hub turn my 1.1 usb ports in back of laptop into 2.0s
