USBs not working

    Ok after taking my computer to staples to get virus removed because i had to get a paper saying it was removed so my internet company would let me back on the internet and they gave me a free PC tune up with it and now none of my USB devices work and when i go to device manger it says

    "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)" and i can't get it back to the default i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Uninstalling and then scanning for hardware changes works until i have to restart my computer then they stop working again and i have to do it all over again does anyone know what i can do that can fix this.

    Take it back to them and have them fix it. God knows what they might have done.

    They are close right now and the tech support people wont be there until monday

    I was going to suggest looking in services.msc, but even mine is not listing a particular USB service. Since you have tried uninstalling and rebooting which does work but only for a short time, I am at a loss as to what to suggest. :(

    Uninstalling and rebooting hasn't worked only uninstalling and then scan for hardware changes work but as soon as i reboot they stop working.

    The only thing I can suggest is to try running a repair install. That might replace the missing drivers.

    I do not know if I Am wrong, but happens that when I have these kind of troubles I ended with MB troubles...???

    Try what TIM suggests.
