I have several laptops that are not worth fixing and was wondering if it is possible to add a plug (or two) and use them as monitors.

    Thanks in advance, Sj

Not really, due to there is no Video driver built into the display part.

    Thanks for the response,

I thought they might be made to work off the additional monitor ports on my working laptops or off my ATI cards video/monitor out ports.

I hate to throw them away and I am buried with big CRT monitors on my workspace and it would be nice to have some of them little ones in their palce.

Sell them on ebay for parts machines. People are always looking for parts to repair their or someone else's computers.

Too much trouble, I hate flea bay, and I am a pack rat, once I get something I hate to part with it :)

Besides I fix the ones I can fix and use most of the the parts myself,

    Thanks, Sj
