Use LeechGet 2009 with Mozilla Firefox?

I was wondering if there is a way to use LeechGet 2009 with Mozilla Firefox without using the IE Tab add-on.

The Mozilla Download Manager is ok for somethings, but for big files I like to use LeechGet. I have a dial-up IP for some large downloads I'd rather use LeechGet.

Somewhere in my browsing I came across an add-on or a fix that would allow you to do this, but of course I can't find it again.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Hutchfred

Not off hand as dont think they built in integration, but while I hate inbrowser download managers and use JDownloader a free open source one try this add-on for Firefox as it works great DownThemAll

Was a Leechegt add-on but its not developed now HERE and FlashGot can be tempermental with Leechget

Thanks Halo. I think I'd like to try DownThemAll, but I have one question, Is there any conflict between DownThemAll and the "Down Load Manager Tweak" add on, or does one compliment the other?

    Hi Fred

Wish I could help you with that as I dont have a version of Firefox thats compatible with those two addons at present, I prefer the test version Minefield and its limited to its add-ons at present (not many written for test versions),

But cannot see why they would conflict as the download manager tweak is just a tidy up tweak app for the inbuilt downloader of Fx, I would give DownThemAll a go as I used to use it all the time in earlier version of Fx and didnt cause an issue.

If you want I could load up current Firefox on a PC and then install those two addons to test before you do? will have to give me a few hours as in middle of a few things at present and would like to give the test for you, undevided attention. Unless one of our other Fx users has both these apps running ok and can comment.

Thanks again Halo, I'm using Firefox 3.5.7 and I just downloaded and installed DownThemAll, I'll let you know how it works or if I have any problems.

Thanks again for your speedy response.

    Hi Fred

No problems, please do let me know how it works out as if you have issues I will install and run those apps on a different PC to test for any anomalies, just I use Win7 and a test version Minefield of Firefox as well as IE8 on all PCs, but can install Win2k and Fx + addons to test.

    David

EDIT, OK I cannot unless I have a CD with W2k on in my MSDN case, as my accounts at MSDN and TechNet dont offer win2k now!!! but can in XP which is close enough.

    Thanks again Halo.

I've been playing with DownThemAll and finally figured out how to use it. First experiances were not good.

To practice, I just downloaded Spybot S&D Detection Updates for 01/27/2010. The file was 6.05 MB and it took 30 min. Of course I have a dial-up ISP, but that seems to be a little slow. So I don't know if the accelerator part of DownThemAll works or not.

I will keep trying DTA for a while and I'll let you all know if I have any problems that I can't overcome. OR I just don't like the program.

Thanks again to MG for all your help!
